Hyperion DeFi, Inc. (formerly Eyenovia, Inc.) is a U.S.-based publicly traded company that has transitioned its strategic focus from ophthalmic technology to decentralized finance. The company has adopted a cryptocurrency treasury reserve strategy centered on the HYPE token, which is native to the Hyperliquid blockchain protocol. As part of this shift, Hyperion DeFi has also launched a validator node in collaboration with Kinetiq to stake its HYPE holdings and participate in on-chain governance and yield generation.

Despite the rebranding, the company continues to develop its proprietary Optejet User Filled Device (UFD), a medical dispensing platform intended for use with topical ophthalmic liquids such as artificial tears and lens rewetting products. The device is designed to improve ease of use, safety, and patient compliance in the treatment of chronic front-of-the-eye diseases. Hyperion DeFi operates with dual focuses: maintaining its role in digital asset management and continuing its efforts in medical device innovation.
