Fireblocks integrates with Lynq to provide real-time settlement to institutional clients

Crypto security firm and blockchain infrastructure provider Fireblocks has integrated with Lynq, a treasury fund-powered settlement platform, to augment its real-time settlement for its institutional clients.

Lynq is developed by Arca Labs, Tassat, and tZERO Group to provide scalable and inclusive settlement services.

"We are announcing this partnership today, but the Fireblocks and Lynq teams have been in discussion for some time regarding how Lynq fills an existing gap in the market for settlement," Lynq CEO Jerald David told The Block in an email. "Our joint technology teams are currently integrating the two platforms with the goal of offering Fireblocks customers access to Lynq via their interface. We expect this integration to be complete prior to the commercial launch of Lynq."

"By integrating with Lynq, Fireblocks enables institutions to access real-time settlement while earning yield continuously — even during the transaction process itself," said Adam Levine, SVP of Corporate Development and Partnerships at Fireblocks, in a statement shared with The Block.

Fireblocks joins Avalanche , B2C2, Crypto.com, Galaxy and other firms in becoming Lynq's early adopters, the release continues.

"Fireblocks' expertise in providing secure and scalable solutions for the industry makes this an ideal collaboration," David said in a statement. "Their participation enhances our security and operational resilience while extending Lynq’s unique capabilities to Fireblocks’ world-class institutional client base."

Fireblocks works with notable institutions across the globe, providing blockchain infrastructure to the London-based traditional finance firm Calastone as well as the major South Korean bank NongHyup Bank , The Block previously reported.

Fireblocks previously raised $550 million in Series E funding in January 2022, netting the firm a $8 billion valuation at the time.
