Coinbase, Binance are now in the top 1,000 most visited websites in the world

Crypto exchanges Coinbase and Binance have become two of the top 1,000 most visited websites in the world, according to estimations by trackers SimilarWeb and Alexa.

Coinbase is currently ranked 874 and Binance 839 worldwide on SimilarWeb. Meanwhile, on Amazon-owned Alexa, Coinbase is ranked 830 globally and Binance 415.

Country-wise, Coinbase is ranked 386 in the U.S., according to SimilarWeb, and 187, according to Alexa.

Binance, on the other hand, is most popular in Russia, according to SimilarWeb, and is ranked 563 in the country. Meanwhile, according to Alexa, Binance is ranked 676 in the U.S.

The surge in popularity of the two websites suggests that people are considering learning about and investing in cryptocurrencies.

Coinbase's app ranking, however, has fallen to 36 on the U.S. Apple Store as of this writing as compared to 4 last week, according to data compiled by The Block.
