Italy's Ministry of Economic Development has brought on 30 blockchain experts to develop a crypto strategy for the nation, as per a CoinDesk report. The experts include Angiolini Giorgio, a member of UN INFO's blockchain group, and Monaco Marco, leader of the blockchain competence center for PwC Italia. The group, according to CoinDesk, is exploring use cases for blockchain in both the private and public sector. Italy's deputy prime minister has spoken publicly in the past about blockchain's potential, saying: "Emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence and blockchain are destined to radically change our lives, the society in which we live and the economic and productive fabric of the country. We have to decide which way to go."
