Japanese cryptocurrency exchange hacked for ~$60M

Hackers stole approximately $59.7M worth of bitcoin (BTC), bitcoin cash (BCH), and MonaCoin (MONA) from Zaif, a licensed Japanese cryptocurrency exchange. To cover the losses of its customers, Zaif will receive a $44.5M investment from Fisco Digital Asset Group. Fisco Digital Asset Group will also become a majority share owner of Zaif in return for its investment.
