The company announced in a blog post Thursday that its Coinbase Pro product will begin accepting deposits from both transparent and shielded Zcash addresses. The deposits will be taken for at least 12 hours before enabling trading to establish liquidity. In July of this year, Coinbase announced that it was exploring the addition of five assets to Coinbase, Zcash being one of them. Coinbase has now added three of the five tokens that it said it was exploring: Basic Attention Token, 0x, and Zcash. (It has yet to add Cardano or Stellar, the other two previously mentioned). As of this writing, ZEC is up 17.63% on the news according to CoinMarketCap. (Source: Coinbase)
