7% of South Koreans bought cryptocurrency, the average investment per person is $6,000

South Korean news agency Arirang has reported that according to a recent survey conducted by a non-profit self-regulatory organization (SRO), 7.4% of South Koreans said they bought some cryptocurrency, which is 1% higher than last year.

The average investment per person is now over $6,000, more than 60% higher than last year. Surprisingly, the most common cryptocurrency investors in South Korea were in their 50s, followed by those in their 30s.
