Crypto IQ Terms and Conditions

By entering the Crypto IQ Contest (the “Contest”) offered by Block Bond Holdings, Inc. (the “Company”, “we” or “us”), you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions (the “Terms”). These Terms supplement and incorporate by reference the Campus Standard Terms and Conditions available at https://www.theblock.co/campus/terms-conditions (the “Standard Terms”) and the Privacy Policy available at https://www.theblock.co/privacy-policy (the “Privacy Policy, together with the Terms and Standard Terms, the “Campus Terms”). In the event of a conflict between the Terms and the Standard Terms, these Terms will supersede and control.

Your entry or participation in the Contest constitutes your acceptance of the Campus Terms and all other supplemental policies and rules of the Contest. The Company reserves the right to disqualify you from the Contest for any reason, including violation of the Campus Terms.

1. 1.

   Eligibility

   • Participants must be over the age of 18 on the date of their entry.
   • Entries into the Contest are open to participants whose X account (i) is public, (ii) was created at least 90 days prior to the Contest start date, (iii) has more than 50 followers, and (iv) has made at least 30 posts (ie. tweets, retweets, replies).
   • Participants who are subject to sanctions or are in certain sanctioned jurisdictions will be ineligible for rewards. By entering into the Contest, you represent and warrant that you are not subject to sanctions.
   • Employees of the Company are not eligible to participate.
   • Only one entry per person per Contest will be accepted. Bots and / or multiple accounts will be disqualified.
   • To be eligible for the prize, you must agree to your X profile and score to appear on the Contest leaderboard (the “Leaderboard”).
2. 2.

   Entry Rules

   • The Contest will begin on August 20, 2025.
   • No purchase necessary. Participants will not be required to pay to enter the Contest.
   • Participants may not seek help from third parties. The Contest will employ a proprietary anti-cheat software that tracks Participant activity on their browser and warns Participants for leaving the tab or using external tools. The Company reserves the right to disqualify Participants if it suspects that a Participant is in breach of these Terms.
   • The Company will perform manual reviews to prevent cheating and reserves the right to disqualify any Participant suspected of cheating.
   • You will be disqualified if you do not follow the instructions below:
     • Do not navigate away from the tab / browser that is running the Contest.
     • Do not attempt to disable or bypass security measures.
     • Do not screenshot, record or capture content of any kind.
     • Do not use a browser extension.
     • Do not enter into the Contest using a tablet or mobile device. You must use a desktop browser.

   How to Enter the Contest

   1. Login with X;
   2. Enter your unique referral code (or request access via email);
   3. Agree to the Terms; and
   4. Complete all questions on the Crypto IQ quiz within the allotted time.

   If you encounter technical difficulties, please try refreshing the page or contacting support (by emailing [email protected] or DMing @TheBlockCampus on X).

   Game Show Format and Winning

   • Contestant Selection
     • The top 16 scoring participants from the initial Contest entry are invited to the game show that will determine the winner (the “Game Show”). If a top 16 scoring participant declines to participate in the game show round, the next in line participant will replace them.
     • The tie breaker rules are used in the order that they appear below:
       • Your score percentage (for example, 98% accuracy on test is > 96% accuracy)
       • Time taken to complete the test (ie. less time = higher on the Leaderboard)
       • Date of the test (ie. participant who took the test before the other participant who is tied)
   • Rounds 1 & 2 Bracket Showdown
     • Rounds 1 and 2 will be bracket style (e.g., 1 vs. 16 seed, 2 vs. 15 seed, etc.)
     • Each matchup consists of 10 questions - the participant with the most points wins and advances.
     • Each matchup will be scheduled based on contestants' availability. (December 8th-15th, 2025)
     • Participants in the same matchup answer questions at the same time - the faster participant answers, the more points they score.
     • All matchups happen live and are broadcasted on YouTube & X/Twitter.
   • Final 4 Quiz Show Format
     • Participants will be eliminated until the final 2 remain.
     • The final 2 will compete in a final trivia question to determine the winner.
   • The Company reserves the right to reschedule, postpone, or modify the date, time, location, or format of the Contest (including the Game Show) for any reason at its sole discretion. In the event of rescheduling, the Company will make reasonable efforts to notify all participants in advance. However, it is the responsibility of each participant to monitor official communications regarding any changes.
   • The Company shall not be liable for any costs, damages, losses, or expenses incurred by participants as a result of the rescheduling, including but not limited to travel, accommodation, or missed opportunities. No refunds, credits, or compensation of any kind will be provided for a participant’s inability to attend a rescheduled Contest.
5. 5.

   Prize

   • The Contest prize pool consists of $20,000, payable in USDC via Ethereum. Prize pool is divided as such:
     • 1st place: $10,000
     • 2nd place: $3,500
     • 3rd place: $2,500
     • 4th place: $1,000
     • The individual who referred the winner of Final 4 showdown: $500
     • The audience member with most points collected during Crypto IQ Audience Contest: $2,500
   • The individual(s) who referred the top 2 finalists of the Contest will receive a pro rata share of $4,000 based on the point distribution of the two finalists (the “Referral Prize”). The Referral Prize will be paid via USDC, EVM or Solana blockchain.
   • Prizes are non-negotiable and non-transferable. No cash alternative is available. The name, personal identification, and wallet address must be provided to the Company if requested to receive the prize.
   • As a condition of receiving any prize, the winners must provide all information necessary for the Company to comply with applicable tax laws. The Company will withhold applicable taxes at such rate as required by law. Failure to provide the required tax documentation or information will result in forfeiture of the prize. Winners are solely responsible for any and all additional taxes, duties, or assessments resulting from acceptance of the prize.

   Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

   • X is not in any way affiliated or involved in the Contest.
   • The Company will not be held liable if the prize becomes unavailable or cannot be fulfilled.
   • The Company will not be held liable for any failure of receipt of entries. The Company takes no responsibility for any entries which are lost, delayed, illegible, corrupted, incomplete, or otherwise invalid.
   • To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Company’s total aggregate liability to any participant arising out of or in connection with the Contest—whether in contract, tort (including negligence), breach of statutory duty, or otherwise—shall be strictly limited to the actual cost value of the prize awarded to that participant, if any. Under no circumstances shall the Company, its affiliates, directors, officers, employees, agents, or representatives be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, punitive, exemplary, or consequential loss or damage, including but not limited to loss of opportunity, loss of profit, loss of goodwill, loss of data, or reputational harm, Participants acknowledge that they enter and participate in the Contest voluntarily and at their own risk, and that this limitation of liability is a fundamental part of the terms and a reasonable allocation of risk.
   • In the event of unforeseen circumstances beyond the Company’s reasonable control, the Company reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Contest or these Terms, either in whole or in part, with or without notice.
7. 7.

   Privacy

   By entering the Contest, participants acknowledge and agree that certain personal information provided in connection with their entry (including, but not limited to, name, email address, social media profile, phone number, and any other data submitted as part of the Contest registration) may be collected, processed, and used by the Company for the purposes of administering the Contest and fulfilling any prizes. In addition, participants expressly consent to the Company sharing their personal data with the official sponsor(s) of the Contest for the sponsor’s own marketing, promotional, and commercial purposes, subject to the sponsor's own privacy policies. Participants understand and agree that once their personal data is transferred to the sponsor, the sponsor becomes an independent data controller (or equivalent term under applicable law) of that data, and its use will be governed by the sponsor’s privacy practices.

   In order to ensure the fairness and integrity of the Contest, the Company may use secure software tools to monitor participants’ browser behavior during contest participation. This monitoring may include detection of tab-switching, copy/paste activity, use of developer tools, or other actions that may indicate cheating or rule violations. Monitoring will be conducted solely for the purpose of preventing fraud, cheating, or other conduct that would compromise the fairness of the Contest. By entering the Contest, you expressly consent to such monitoring and acknowledge that the Company may disqualify participants based on detected violations.

   All data collected through browser monitoring will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy linked below and applicable privacy laws. Data will be retained only for as long as necessary to fulfill the above purposes, after which it will be securely deleted.

   The Company will take reasonable steps to ensure that any data sharing with sponsors is done securely and in compliance with applicable data protection laws, including but not limited to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), and other relevant regulations. Participants may have certain rights under these laws, such as the right to access, correct, or delete their personal data, and should contact the sponsor directly to exercise any such rights after data transfer.

   By participating in the Contest, participants confirm that they have read and understood the Company’s Privacy Policy (available at https://www.theblock.co/privacy-policy), and agree to the collection, use, and sharing of their data as described herein.

8. 8.

   Recruitment Outreach

   Where participants have provided explicit consent, the Company may use performance data and contact information submitted during the Contest to contact participants regarding potential employment or internship opportunities. This processing is based on consent and is entirely optional. Participants may withdraw their consent at any time by contacting [email protected], and doing so will not affect their contest eligibility or standing.

9. 9.

   Photo and Content Use Policy

   The Company does not place restrictions on your photographing, filming, recording, or otherwise documenting our events. However, by participating in the Contest, you understand and agree that you do not have a license to reproduce any Contest content, including but not limited to our registered trademarked and copyrighted content, speaker and sponsor content, graphics, signage, products and services and that you are strictly prohibited from doing so for any purpose other than personal use, for which you agree to provide credit to our Contest as source. By agreeing to participate in the Contest, you agree and acknowledge the Company retains the rights to all other usage. Remember all personal use is subject to our code of conduct and social media policies, which we strictly enforce. Note also, that by personally recording or distributing any content from the Contest, you warrant that you understand and agree you may be infringing upon one or more third parties' rights in reproducing or distributing photos or other content without express written permission, release, or license. You also understand and agree that you may be recorded or photographed as a result of your attendance and / or participation at this Contest, as is the case with any Contest open to the public. Your attendance and / or participation is your choice and the Company is not responsible for your appearance in any third party photographs, social media posts, video, or other recorded media, nor are we responsible or liable in any way for any such content resulting from your attendance or participation, including content which you may find offensive or harmful. You agree to hold The Block harmless and assume all risk of any appearance by or depiction of yourself by third parties that results from your voluntary attendance and / or participation at this Contest.

10. 10.

    Media Release & Use of Likeness

    By participating in the Game Show, you acknowledge and agree that the Game Show may be recorded, live-streamed, photographed, and otherwise captured in audio, visual, and audiovisual formats (collectively, the “Recordings”) by the Company, its affiliates, licensees, successors, and assigns. By participating in the Game Show, participants irrevocably grant to Company and its representatives the unrestricted, perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free right and license to (1) record, reproduce, edit, adapt, distribute, display, publish, perform, and otherwise exploit the Recordings, in whole or in part, including but not limited to Participant’s name, image, voice, statements, appearance, and likeness (collectively, “Likeness”) as captured in the Recordings; (2) use the Recordings and participant’s Likeness in connection with the advertising, promotion, publicity, exhibition, distribution, and other commercial or non-commercial exploitation of the Contest and the Company’s products or services, including without limitation via websites, social media, broadcasts, press releases, internal communications, digital archives, or other public or private media channels, in any format or medium now known or hereafter developed; and (3) retain and make the Recordings publicly available in perpetuity, without the need for further notice, approval, or compensation to Participant.

11. 11.

    Amendment

    The Company reserves the right to amend, remove, or add to the Campus Terms at any time, including these Terms. Such modifications shall be effective immediately. Accordingly, please continue to review the Campus Terms whenever accessing or entering into the Contest. Your access, link to, or participation in the Contest will constitute your acceptance of the Campus Terms, as modified.
